Liquid level sensing components

Production parts. No production tooling bill.

We tooled the parts your industry keeps re-tooling. Floats, stems, side mounts and continuous level fittings come off class 101 multi cavity molds and ship as stock items, the way you buy nuts and bolts.

Buy the part, not the mold

Manufacturers in liquid level sensing have spent decades building one and two cavity prototype molds for parts that are, functionally, the same part their competitor already tooled. Those molds run slowly, need frequent insert changes, and give up quality as they wear.

We looked at that and made the investment ourselves. Rubber Ducky Floats put in high cavitation class 101 production tooling and stocks the results, so you get the part quality that only comes off a production mold, at the piece price that only comes with high cavitation, without capitalizing a mold to get there.

For less than the cost of a temporary aluminum prototype mold, you get parts off a class 101 multi cavity production tool.

Made in the U.S.A.

Every part is molded at our own plant at 21 West End Avenue in Branford, Connecticut. Nothing is sourced overseas and nothing is drop shipped from a catalog house.

We are constantly working on new designs. If you do not see what you need, ask. If you have a concept you would like to see in production, call. Most parts are available in both commodity and engineering resins.

We can eliminate your potting

Send us your reed switch and we will injection mold around it for a true hermetic seal, removing the potting operation from your process entirely.

What to include

  • The RDF part number, or a sketch or sample if you do not have one
  • Thread size and the material you need it in
  • Specific gravity or density the float has to hit
  • Magnet type, if the part takes one: round, square or ring
  • Annual volume and how you would like it packaged

Rubber Ducky Floats is a division of Mold Threads, Inc. If your part needs its own tool rather than a stock component, Mold Threads designs and builds the mold and molds the part under the same roof.
